Danny, Project Manager, has been working with the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy for over a decade, primarily on natural resource conservation, vegetation management and landscape scale habitat restoration projects. He is currently managing parallel fine scale vegetation mapping and landscape database projects in Marin, San Mateo, Santa Clara, and Santa Cruz counties, which includes regional collaboration of over two dozen local, state, and federal land managing agencies and partners. Danny is also leading development of the Regional Forest Health Strategy for Public Lands in Marin County, a data-driven initiative of the Tamalpais Lands Collaborative (One Tam) that will identify opportunities to improve forest habitat and protect biodiversity, while also strategically managing vegetation to reduce “fire fuels” such as dry brush and diseased or dying trees.
