Lynn Zhang

Lynn Zhang is a GIS analyst in the Office of the Assessor at the County of Santa Clara and has worked in the GIS industry for over 10 years. Prior to joining the County, she worked for the City of San Jose and Department of Information Technology at Solano County.
Lynn has two master’s degrees – one in GIS and another in economics. She also has two professional certificates: GISP and PMP (Project Management Professional).
Jen Parra-MacDougall
Associate GIS Analyst
Office of the Assessor
County of Santa Clara
Jen Parra-MacDougall is associate GIS analyst in the Office of the Assessor for the County of Santa Clara. She digitizes drawings and inputs them into a GIS database in preparation for distribution to County departments, the public and various other agencies. She also provides spatial analytics for customer needs and integrates GIS applications for the broader use of GIS.
Prior to joining the Office of the Assessor and the County in December 2021, Jen worked for Toyota Research Institute in their Autonomous Vehicles Division. Originally, she started out as a teacher for five years and then switched professions to GIS. She first worked as a TA for GIS Courses, then as a contractor building out Apple Maps.
Jen received a Bachelor of Science in neuroscience and behavior from U.C. Santa Cruz with a minor in linguistics. She also received a master’s degree in education from California State University, Monterey Bay and a master's degree in geospatial information science and technology from North Carolina State University with a GISP (Certified Geographic Information Systems Professional).
