Know more about your property and neighborhood through Santa Clara County's web mapping application

The Santa Clara County's Web Mapping Application, also called SCCMap, provides an easy means to access, search, visualize, and analyze geospatial information maintained and curated by the County. This presentation will demonstrate the rich functionality of this GIS application which includes finding and visualizing your property, finding school of residence, calculating property average slope, viewing elevation profile, launching Google Map and Google Street View, using markup and measurement tools, uploading and analyzing your own data, and more.

Michelle is a senior application developer for the Technology Services and Solutions Department at the County of Santa Clara. With over 20 years’ experience in software development, she enjoys exploring GIS technologies and applying them in GIS applications development with the goal for further improving services to the County and the community.

Michelle holds a bachelor’s degree in physics and a master’s degree in computer science.

Application Developer

County of Santa Clara

Sumy is an Application Developer at the County of Santa Clara for the Department of Technology Services and solutions. Sumy has 15 years of experience in software development which includes over 10 years of working experience in the government administration industry. Her passion is to use GIS technologies along with her software development skills. She has a bachelor’s degree in computer science from San Jose State University.
